Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association

To represent the interests of the Association members against any and all institutions and organizations; To coordinate activities of the Association members in developing rural tourism in Lithuania; To arrange workshops, conferences, fairs, methodical aids, information booklets on the issues of operation of the Association and its members; To improve the Association members’ qualifications and arrange training sessions within the country and abroad; To analyze demand for rural tourism services within the country and abroad; To cooperate with analogous organizations in the Republic of Lithuania, other countries and international organizations and become a member of these organizations; To participate in developing and analyzing new draft laws of Lithuania governing activities of the Association and its members.

Kaunas Science and Technology Park

Established 16 years ago in Kaunas, KTU Business Incubator was the first business support programme of this kind in Lithuania. Today Kaunas Science and Technology Park is the largest partner of science and business cooperation in this Baltic country. More than 200 companies have been incubated here with a success rate exceeding 90%. Today, we integrate more than 70 companies from IT sector, high tech sector, consultancies, advertisement & publishing companies and associated members. More than 90% employees of Kaunas Science and Technology Park companies are graduates, students or current academic staff of Kaunas University of Technology. EuroGites - European Federation of Rural Tourism

EuroGites is formed by 34 professional and trade organisations from 27 countries of geographical Europe. It represents a tourism sector with an estimate of 500.000 micro-enterprises and about 5-6,5 million bed places. The product goes from the rural Bed&Breakfast and self-catering in private homes or farms, up to small family-run rural hotels or guesthouses, and related restaurant or activity tourism services. As a whole, this sector stands for about 15% of the European tourism capacity. The objectives of EuroGites are wide-spread, given the transversal character of this sector that requires support and representation in multiple areas. The include - amongst others - product development, professional and vocational training, and research.

Eurocrea Merchant

Eurocrea Merchant was born on the initiative of a group of professionals, chartered certified accountants and all with decades of experience, who have as their own mission to aid qualified firms thanks to the experience and know-how acquired in the different areas of the country's economic sectors each one with its own specific features and opportunities. Over the years, Eurocrea Merchant has steadily consolidated its multidisciplinary approach assisting business projects of excellence in various economic sectors. Besides consulting and advisoring activities, Eurocrea Merchant is also involved in the organisation of training courses and in European Projects management. Part of the team is constantly involved in searching the best funding opportunities offered by the European Commission, and in designing and managing projects themselves or for other Italian SMEs.

Federturismo Confindustria

Federturismo Confindustria, the national Travel and Tourism Federation, represents the companies operating in the different areas of the tourism industry in Italy. It belongs to the Confindustria system and currently includes 21 sector associations, 9 company members (directly associated) and several local associations. Federturismo Confindustria officially represents the tourism industry in labour relations. It also handles relations with the European Union and with the representatives of the tourism industry at the European level. Thanks of its institutional nature, Federturismo/Confindustria benefits of a privileged observatory about the whole sector of tourist SMEs at national and international level. Our main tasks are:

• Represents tourism industry interests in economic policy and labour relations
• Provides information regarding tourism policy and legislation
• Represents members within and outside the Confindustria system
• Promotes entrepreneurial values and sustainable tourism
• Provides information and communication about initiatives and activities of interest to members
• Promotes training opportunities to further business culture and quality
• Develops and promotes relations with similar organizations in other countries and provides assistance to members participating in international events
• Conducts research, analysis and debates about tourism supply and demand, and tourism legislation at national and European levels
